So my family member was living with another family member and I guess they decided to make an account on their PC. Now when ever you go to login in it asks for a password to an Outlook account. I'm thinking they deleted the local account because if there was more then one account it should show in the bottom left corner right? Other accounts to choose from. There is nothing anywhere showing other users. I'm I right to say I need to reset the PC. Because that moron of a family member isn't confessing to screwing up or giving the password.
They probably signed in with a MSA when using the store and forgot to check: only for this app. Now the pc/laptop has an online windows account. If possible sign in and revert back to local account.
The local account will still be there? Also i don't see them using the app store, they made an account so they could use the pc for facebook. but i get what your saying maybe delete the online account and the local one will be there.
