In your case you should really only have to make sure you have an installer for each of the programs you use, a copy of your 'Users' folder which probably has any important configs you may need again and any other custom folder you have created on your C Drive on a separate HDD or computer and then clean install. Don't trust Microsoft to keep the promise that your files are right where you left them when you can do it yourself. ;)

Just like the desktop should only be a place that is for programs/utilities you are going to be working with during your current session and then re-archive/toss or shortcuts, your C drive should only house your Windows install, programs that can be reinstalled, and cloud synced files. It has become basically a ROM to complement your RAM. No important data should be kept on it without a backup plan moreso if you are build hopping and especially so if you are trying to take the risk hopping backwards. :D

Thanks. This appear to be the inevitable. I understood what it takes/cost to be an insider. I actually wanted a short cut as I'm constrained with time. I have always preferred the clean install option.

I have installer for all my programs. I only wished there was a way to backup and reinstall outlook IMAP data so that I will not need to re-download from server. I more than 30 GB of email data

:D@Enthousiast I know the post had in it some convoluted grammer. I managed to understand what he meant. You know, not all of us had English as first language.

English is my first language, but I'm missing at least a half dozen commas, especially in that first sentence. :D I was about to fall asleep while I typed that up and I easily forget that, while I can continue on in the same sentence, not adding a comma signifying to the reader is questionable grammar at best.
