I am using a B85M Motherboard with an i7 4770 CPU and a Samsung Evo SSD.
This Motherboard does not have an M.2 slot. Is there a way around that, with some additional hardware, maybe?
    The MoBo has 1 PCIe 3.0 x16, 1 PCIe 2.0 x16 slot, so perhaps a Add-in Card SSD?
    Thank You

From my experience, I have found that there is not much significant improvement either in booting time nor in performance by the use of NVMe over SSD, especially for casual users.
My nephew, who is an avid gamer says it doesn't help much in gaming either.

@ Caravan hooks on bycycles ---- > It depends on what computer a person has, what mainboard and what connections . They can be added to a lot of computers with adapters ......... but dont give full preformance .
