Looking to buy a tablet for between $250 and $280. I will use this for cruising the internet and watch movies or shows. Feel free to recommend one that will match my needs.

Hmm, I guess bumping this thread is OK:

    (Nov 2017, Australian prices AUD$)
Looking for a new Tablet here:
    Budget: ~AUD$200-$300 (~US$150-$230)
    O/S: Android 6 or 7
    Screen: ~10" Screen
    RAM: 2GB min
Storage: Prefer 32GB (16GB min), with MicroSD/Card Expansion
No Need for SIM Card / 3G/4G mobile connectivity (only need Wifi)
Primary Uses: Apps, incl. kids, Youtube, movie & other videos
Power: Prefer via MicroUSB rather than dedicated AC Adaptor
Case: will need a suitable case, preferably that folds out into an angled stand for the device
Availability: in or reasonable postage to Australia

    Lookin' at:
    - Lenovo Tab 3 A10 10.1" 32GB(Storage) 2GB(RAM) Android6.0 WiFi ~$250 (now discontinued)
    - Lenovo Tab 4 10 10.1" 16GB(Storage) 2GB(RAM) Android7.0 WiFi ~$300 (sourced locally in Aust.)
    - Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1” 16GB(Storage) 2GB(RAM) Android6.0.1 WiFi ~$300 (sourced locally in Aust.)
Also now considering cheaper Chinese types, e.g.
    - Cube Free Young X7 T10 Plus 4G 10.1" 32GB(Storage) 3GB(RAM) Android6.0 3G/4G+WiFi ~$290
    - Cube iPlay U83
    - BXMC 10
    - Onda V10 Plus 10.1" 32GB(Storage) 2GB(RAM) Android6.0 WiFi ~$220 (tho have heard Onda manufacture quality is doubtful?)
    - Onda V10 Pro 10.1" 32GB(Storage) 4GB(RAM) Android6.0 WiFi ~$230 (tho have heard Onda manufacture quality is doubtful?)

Have been browsing sites like: banggood.com, gearbest.com, techtablets.com, as well as eBay & local PC/electronics retailers.

    Suggestions/thoughts?
    Cheers

    EDIT:
    Added:
    - Google Nexus 10
    - XGody 10-T1001
    - ASUS Zenpad 10 Z300M/Z300M-C2-GR 16GB/64GB(Storage) 2GB(RAM) Android6.0 WiFi ~$220-$350+

    ---

    NOT ANDROID OS:
    - Amazon Kindle Fire HD 10 10.1" 32GB(Storage) 2GB(RAM) Amazon Fire/Alexa OS ~$260 inc. postage from USA

Just for your info, Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1" has update to Android 7. I have Wi-FI/LTE one, but I have used it only on Wi-Fi.

After lookin' at lotsa different sites, models etc., we're most comfortable with the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 T580 Black – from eglobaldigitalcameras.com.au AUD$269 + postage (a bit above the budget for a tablet as I was hoping).
My +1 much prefers a better-known/bigger brand, we've had Samsung devices in the past, & don't want to risk disappointment/possible O/S warranty issues with a cheaper Chinese/other one etc.
