Linux has it.
Funnily enough, when I have installed addons in the past, to perform this function, I ended up not using it. I much prefer the side snapping feature for explorer windows.
Now if they introduced tabbed explorer, which you could side snap, like Total Commander does, then I would definitely use it. I just find Total Commander a bit too cluttered.
So does windows, Explorer++ (not natively).
Since a large portion of my use of explorer involves opening multiple windows and dragging files from one to another, I don't really see a lot of use for such a feature. But I am all for options being available for those who want them.
Have done about 10 time. Falls on deaf ears, obviously.
