I'm trying to think of a solution and perhaps someone here has some experience in this type of application. I have a Windows 8 Kiosk running and would like to have a video playing on it all the time. However, I want someone to be able to tap the screen to play it. The video ends and has to be tapped to be played again. And the screen is locked on this video only, so a client couldn't access any other part of the computer. Is that something that I should be looking into some sort of media playing OS or is there any application that could do this task? Any help would be so much appreciated it.
You should try Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry Pro/Enterprise for this type of Device, which allows you to boot to a certain app and also provides you to lock the device according to your need.
