Just checking if anybody else has this. I normally put the taskbar at the top of my screen. This time i notice that after i have set it to the top, restart the system and the taskbar look weird. I've attached a picture cos i don't know how to describe it. There is an extra transparent layer that is bigger than the taskbar thus covering the "X" button and titles at the top. Anybody else having this bug and anyway to fix it? U don't get this if you keep the taskbar at the bottom.
So nobody else has this taskbar problem? I cannot imagine where i went wrong It's kinda irritating cos there is a little shadow of 3mm covering the top part of the screen Does anybody know how to go about removing it?
Nup...did not install any patch. Fresh install and that's what i get I'm running my Win7 on a netbook so the resolution is 1024 x 600. Glad to know i'm not the only one having this weird problem. I'm just so used to having the taskbar on the top of the screen.
the problem mite be only with low res im running 1680x1050 and dont have the problem, have you install your video drivers?
My taskbar is locked and i'm using the default Win7 driver. Never tried installing the video driver in Win7 I figure since it works, leave it Will give it a shot when i boot into Win7. Learning OSX for now
I have the same problem on a Vaio G2 at 1024x768 when the taskbar is on top. I have never seen this problem in other builds.
So i tried to change the video driver and that did not help either. So if this is an actual bug, maybe somebody want to report this to M$. I don't think i'm in the position to do so. Anybody has a work around??
I've just downloaded the Win7 RC version from M$ and installed it to 3 different notebooks. Compaq, Acer & Lenovo and all 3 has the same issue when i move the taskbar to the top of the screen. Others are not having such problem? After you change the setting in the taskbar from bottom to top, you got to reboot to see the problem. Is there any fix for this?
