I'm terribly sorry that you think was was trying to sell you anything. The link leads to a site that has discount code for all sorts of sites. The specific link tells you that if you enter TMSAM10 in the discount code field when buying your Technet subscription from Microsoft you will get 25% off the list price. ildoc
Typical money grabbing bastards, if you live in the UK which has a VAT rate of 15% then they conveniently say all goods are supplied from Ireland which has a VAT rate of 21.5% so you get raped even more, no wonder M$ piss people off!!
So, o-wise-and-knowledgeable-sage, care to elaborate or are you just killing time before mummy tucks you in?
Anyone got a better discout code than 25% off?? There was a 40% floating around at one stage - but the codes dead. Working code better than 25% anyone??

You will never get more that 25% discount in Technet. one year back there were offers for students, TECHNET for 99$ . But now it's not avail. may be in future might.
If I were to subscribe what exactly do you get with regards to the keys? I see you can get the basic package and one where they send you CD's. Would I also get Office 10 and can I download older stuff like Windows XP? Can you only use the keys for a certain time or something? Whats the deal.....
Nice! Thanks for the heads up. I guess IEEE recently (as of June) started giving MSDN AA access to all its student members vs it's computer society members. Also joined ACM as well
A Technet subscription offers keys for every version of Windows 7, almost every version of Windows Vista, XP Pro both 32 and 64 bit. Office 2007 (commercial versions) Office 2003 and Office 2010 will be offered soon. Most of the keys are retail and do not expire. A renewal sub is $249 (US). All server versions and much, much more. It is well worth your money if you like to evaluate software.....
if you have TECHNET, You will get most of the Microsoft Application Servers (sharepoint server, comm server, biztalk), windows xp/vista/2003/2003R2/2008/7, them microsoft dynamics, SQL SERVER all versions.
