Hi is it possible to test a recovery method before I mod just to see if it will work and let me flash?
Im thinking this is the best way I can safeguard doing the mod I want!
    Any comments?
    Thanks

I'm going to bump this thread because I need to fix this laptop. I have projects I need to complete and if this isn't recoverable I need to move on ASAP.

Sorry, HP G61-321NR; AMD Turion Dual Core (2.0Ghz) Win + B to initialize bios recovery works, however it reads the flash drive for about a minute with a beep every 10 seconds until it stops and the machine does nothing but continues to flash Bios corruption error (flashing cap and num lock keys).

I've tried with drives and the ram out, however that was before I had the bios image on the flash drive, I can try that again. Data lost isn't the issue, lost of productivity is.
