    ESET Smart Security
I use it for a long time and it proves to be reliable.

BTY, I used Kaspersky in the past, but now ESET wins :)

It's pretty hard to be ESET price is great scan's are really fast does not suck up alot of your CPU and keeps the crap out better then anything else I have ever tried.

Also another thing that is great about ESET is that it block's tracking cookies pro-actively unlike AVG witch means AVG let's them in,witch anyone who know's anything knows that Tracking cookies slow your PC down and AVG olny removes them when you do a scan where as ESET never let's them in.

Voted ESET NOD32 AV. I've been using it quite some time and I'm very happy with it. I was using it a couple of years back and tried many AVs like Avira, AVG, MSE and others. I found it to be the perfect working solution with very high detection rates and very low false positives. I also found it to be one of the least taxing in terms of hardware usage.

I am a bit pissed with Eset since they failed to deliver an updated version of the Smart Security Business Edition as of yet. Version 4 has been around for some 4 years now and when they released the private version of SmartSecurity5 I expected them to come with an updated BE edition in a flash, but no. So I did not renew my subscritpion.
While I wait I am using Symantec Endpoint Protection 11. The SEP 12 versions I have found seems to have blacklisted serials and stops updating immediately.
I will resume my paid relationship with Eset when they release a new version of the Business Edition.

How very unfortunate... I hope you are not doing it in Business

For home use you surely do not need BE...
