    Hello everybody!

I'm here today to make a poll about which it's the best Web Browser out there.

    1.Internet Explorer 8
    2.FireFox
    3.Opera
    4.Safari
    5.Chrome
    6.Other

Select your favorite one even if is not listed select "Other", and why its the best in you opinion. Pros and Con (optional).

I prefer Opera v10.xx because for me is more reliable and load pages very fast and if I have a slow connection it activate "Opera Turbo" that help to load sites faster even with a slow connection.

Yeah, Chrome for me as well, really like what they are doing with it lately

Been a devoted Firefox user for the past couple of years but now I've finally made the jump to Chrome because it has all the add-ons I use on Firefox (WOT, LastPass & AdBlock) & their performance is on par with FF, it was AdBlock that was initially holding me back but now like I said is pretty much on par with FF's AdBlock Plus.

I too also like the minimalist look plus the speed it offers, I really like when I click the Chrome icon on my desktop it pops up pretty much instantly whereas FF doesn't.

Recently tried out the Firefox 4.0 Beta & I hate the new look they are using which in-turn also pushed me over to Chrome.

Used Firefox for win xp from 2004-09, but have switched to chrome from feb 2010/win 7. Use IE for some sites (LOtus notes, and some ancient websites optimised for IE). Firefox 4 beta is good but no add-ons. Chrome's extensions are small, install quickly, and chrome itself seems faster to me. Recent updates to Chrome (beta from Filehippo to 6.0.472.11) have been somewhat less than overwhelming. Let me see what addons are there to Firefox before using it more.

I also have to say the tab management of Chrome is the best, it's so smooth, even on netbooks.

No favorites here, I use Opera, IE8, Firefox and Chrome.

    Different websites, different browsers.

    You use what you need.
Sadly some sites will not work with anything but ie IE

Safari is fast, but can not install some plugins (as they do not exists for it) & password management on Windows sux
Chrome is fast, but is Google, so they know about you....!
Firefox is well covered on every platform

There's two things you can do on Chrome to gain more privacy:
    1. Uncheck options you don't like in settings under "Privacy".
    2. Change your search engine URL in settings (by default chrome sends some hash with every google search).

Or you can just install Srware Iron browser. Which is basically Chrome with this stuff removed.
