Hi R29k simply awesome this game, is one great evolution since original version fantastic; congrats to developers
OK, thanks for the info ! It looks like it, that Multi-GPU-Support in general might get scraped in the near future. The GTX1080 seems only to support 2-Way-SLI, but I'm not sure why.
My impressions of Doom (4) is this, the game play has gone right back to the original. Unlike Doom 3 you have wide open areas, most of the time, and many enemies. So it becomes like an Unreal Tournament game, move and gun, if you camp then you will die. The downside of it is that the story is underwhelming, which makes the single player experience very average. I hope they use this engine to make a Doom II (5) after this and continue the story rather than waiting another 12 years again and giving you the same story in a different package.
Upgrade to 486? I've played this version of Doom (and quite a few others)... I enjoy point and click adventures the most (like the classical ones, but also Myst, Soma, Obduction etc) - but I can't refuse a brainless round of Doom lol OK, also other shooters - it's just about the fun To getting an insight into PC history, I can also recommend reading about Doom history. There are a few books about the Doom complex... quite a good read.
no ancestor(v) I think that Pentium 3 run better I'm kidding of course; do you remember the first version of Pentium processor? here in my country this cpu is very expensive now I can upgrade for the first time to AMD A10 7850 with 12 cores so I maybe play Doom as I like lol including Quake 3 also
That's marketing bs, it's a quadcore with decent graphics. You will need a gpu with that if you want to run Doom decently @ 1080p.
