Hey guys, got a question that I hope I can get some clarity on. I have a few PCs that still haven't been upgraded to 10, and I won't be able to look at them until after July 29. If I run the "gatherosstate.exe" file on the system before this time, get my genuineticket.xml file and I enter into a clean Windows 10 install sometime during the middle of August, will it activate? My thoughts are that it won't work because activation is done by the server side of things, and I don't believe the XML file includes a timestamp, but I would love to be proven wrong.

Thoughts on this would be appreciated!

LOL I would if I could, but I don't have access to the PCs until then, and I can't do the upgrade because it'll break some software. I could however, remote into them.

The systems need to be imaged with a Windows 10 SOE that has all the fixes built in. I can't do it remotely unfortunately :(
