I am using Oracle VirtualBox, the host machine is on Windows 10 and the guest machine is on Windows 7
When I was doing the initial installation process of Windows and an error acurred saying "The memoery could not be read"

Then the vm aborted, I ran it again and the installation continued normally, after that, I tried to install the guest additions, the installation wizard finished and asked me to reboot, I choosed the option "reboot now" and the same error ocurred again, this time I wrote down the error code:
"The instruction on 0x00007FFD6B70F2CC referenced memory on 0x0000000000000000 The memory could not be read"

    What could be causing this?

This is the log from the vm

@VirtualBlack disable 3D Acceleration in the VM and if you use Nvidia drivers on your host, update it, if all already done then contact Nvidia support

Thanks, that solved the error but I wanted to enable 3D acceleration to use windows aero transparency effects, then I guess it won't be possible right?

Then why not use vmware as a temporary workaround ?
