You asked for help, someone posted help, and then you said you would rather re-install unless someone has a better idea. The better idea is in post 2, and if you were going to re-install, then why ask for help in the first place? Do whatever floats your boat, but the answer to your question has already been given.
I WOULD offer that he could also use EasyBCD and simply enter the proper Drive Letter and then name to what he wants but since he really did not want any help I will not offer this fix...
