The problem with a delay when you click the Start menu

    Anyone knows how to solve the problem with a delay when you click the Start menu in build 10565 ?

    Yes, if you want os without or little issues get yourself 240 instead preview build

    Use StartIsBack or Classic Shell instead. ;)

    Yea, use an OS that doesn't have slow-assed useless XAML

    Classic Shell resolved the Start problem for me. The system uses far less RAM with it too. I've noticed there is a huge delay when clicking on anything from the sys tray notification area too. No idea how a bug like this gets through the OS builds.

    Are you using enGB client? If yes, it's not a bug, it's a tea time feature.

    blocking startmenu connect to internet might help

    I don't have any issue with start menu engb 240 no delays of any kind.

    The problem in my case was fixed with the solution of Gabe Aul.
    If Search isn't working for you, download *any* lang pack and it should work.
