I get a failure when trying to run this latest update. I am running Enterprise x64 with the MTK patch. Event log shows. License Activation (slui.exe) failed with the following error code: hr=0xC004F074 Command-line arguments: RuleId=502ff3ba-669a-4674-bbb1-601f34a3b968;Action=AutoActivateSilent;AppId=55c92734-d682-4d71-983e-d6ec3f16059f;SkuId=73111121-5638-40f6-bc11-f1d7b0d64300;NotificationInterval=1440;Trigger=UserLogon;SessionId=1 License Activation (slui.exe) failed with the following error code: hr=0xC004F074 Command-line arguments: RuleId=502ff3ba-669a-4674-bbb1-601f34a3b968;Action=AutoActivateSilent;AppId=55c92734-d682-4d71-983e-d6ec3f16059f;SkuId=73111121-5638-40f6-bc11-f1d7b0d64300;NotificationInterval=1440;Trigger=NetworkAvailable Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80070643: Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3081704).
I have no idea. I installed Pro using a USB stick a while back and used an Enterprise key to convert it to Enterprise. Then I used MTK on it. I also have a bunch of privacy hacks and used tools to disable some s**t. I have a feeling it's now messed up due to these issues. I get the sneaky feeling I may have to install fresh from the ISO (If I can find the En-GB ISO Enterprise that is). BTW it's been updating fine until the last 24 hours upon the newest update(s).
The dvd app update (KB3081704) is only distributed/applicable to upgraded windows from a windows which contained mediacenter (win 7 almost all exept enterprise/starter/basic and windows 8.x ProfessionalWMC)
Pretty sure I have never installed Media Center or DVD player in Enterprise. So why does it think it needs those updates? EDIT. BTW I tried to install the DVD player using that Powershell trick but it gave an unspecified error. So I can't even install the DVD player to update it!
You stated: i applied some exe here in this thread (svf repository) which should make my home/pro > enterprise. The dvd app is NOT usable (not applicable) on enterprise, so why are you trying it anyway?
