Every edition of Windows 10 breaks something. I hope they're not doing that on purpose. I'm willing to try the latest Windows 10 LTSC as a capture platform and then test the executable files on previous Windows editions (7 and 8). It would be a very unusual way to do things, and I'd like to ask if it seems a good idea or not.
Sure! But it would hurt even less to discuss the pros and cons (if any). You know, I'm not a Windows 10 guy, even if I'm doing 10 things at the same time nowadays.
VLC seems to work easy for basic conversions. I was thinking of trying Windows Media player Classic on Windows Longhorn.
