I have a copy of Windows Vista Ultimate which I downloaded. I cracked it by replacing some files, I forgot how exactly but it wasn't the timerstop crack, and when I go to run and type "slmgr.vbs -dlv", it always says 180 days remaining. Under My Computer it shows up as Vista being activated. Today, I accidentally tried to download something from Microsoft. I forgot about my copy of Windows being cracked and did the validation thing. Then it told me that my copy wasn't genuine. I restarted, and in the bottom right corner of the desktop it says: Windows Vista (TM) Build 6000 This copy of Windows is not genuine. In addition, a dialog box appeared saying Aero and other Vista feature were deactivated. So what I was wondering is, is there any way to crack this? Thanks in advance.
I don't know what motherboard I have, and I have a laptop so I don't think I can open it up and check. I tried it once, but it didn't work because I forgot to change the time in the BIOS before applying the crack. So I had to reinstall Vista and try it again, but it didn't work again for some reason. Do you think I should just install XP again? All this WGA bs is giving me too much trouble.
I have the same problem tried and it didnt work.. and now im all outta ideas.. tried the "Vista Reset" program.. the rearm hack thing... nothing seems to be working.. and i cant format because i got no space to backup 300gb worth of stuff ANY suggestions please? im desperate..
Let's me ask some questions?pls. i have just upgraded my xp pro to vista ultimate. But my pk is not activated. i was in grace period 14 days.So i tried to used timestop crack exe. After that "slmgr.vbs-dlv"show 30 days left. i think it means timestop was successful. Can i permit any window update from ms? Any problems? And my window is still not acivate when i check in my computer properties. Thanks
if when you run slmgr.vbs -dlv on the last line you get time remaining 43200 (30 days) it is perfectly fine to run windows update D
