I am still under the impression that Windows Blue (the above iso) is not Windows 9. Unless I am misunderstanding your thread title, it looks like we can download windows 9 lol
Notice the ('') 'Windows Blue'. Probably not the final name. After all, Windows has been 7,8 etc as of lately.
Blue and 9 are different and yeah final name of blue will be different probably 8.1 or 8.5 something like that and no need to open new thread as there are already 2 or 3.
Until such a time if/when Microsoft says Windows Blue and Windows 9 are the same thing, it would be a mistake to use them interchangeably, particularly when Windows Blue is looking more and more like a service pack-type update for Windows 8. This leak is Windows Blue, and we already have Windows Blue threads.
Microsoft has never publicly came out and said "Windows Blue" so until they call it "Windows Blue", Its Windows 9 in my eyes.
If you check system properties it shows it still windows 8 pro. so how can this be windows 9? its just gonna be a update/service pack more than likely. And Everyone is calling it windows blue but no where does it show anything about BLUE.
But Why would they go through the trouble of making a new kernel for windows 8 and not use it. its 6.3 not 6.2 like windows 8 is. sounds like alot of trouble to go through if they weren't gonna use it for 8. and there's not really very many features added to call it a new os.
Once again, just a "Code Name" Nothing is final. Windows XP was whistler, Vista was Longhorn, 7 was Vienna, and 8 didn't receive one.
has anyone tried and seen if Metro apps work in 1024x600 yet? They said it should bring support for smaller displays, no?
