time to quit ?

    As I intend to leave the insiders program, is it the right time to do so without losing 1483 and being thrown back to 10240 or whatever ?
    I think it should be ok as there is no wtermark any longer...
    am I right ?

    No point now because you'll end up getting RS1 final through the insider program soon or August 2 at worst. Don't participate in RS2's insider program if you don't want to.

    You think the watermark etc are the only thing forcing you back to older builds if you quit the insiders programme?

    Half the forum are not in the insiders programme, and they are running the latest builds

    Insiders programme just means you get new builds via WU

    Quit once you get RTM of RS, or update manually using ESD links

    I signed up for the so-called "insider's program" over a year ago and never got anything from Windows Update. :confused:

    So I just download the latest builds that are posted here.

    I left the insider BS a long time ago, before GA even. I still get everything I want when I choose to haha
