can you clarify a bit more, i found that folder HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{98E6BD24-2D93-41A5-BC6D-CB7C1507318B} do i delete this whole folder? or just the reg_binary file type?
Do those binary values represent a date, perhaps? (BTW, the last two are always cf 01.) I'm wondering if it would be possible to enter binary values that would make the trial work forever, or at least longer than 30 days...
What are you on man? Intoxicated or just playing silly? Just delete the value & get another 30 day. Hence "trial reset"
Anyway... I did some testing and those values do indeed represent a date: the time of installation of Sandboxie. But setting a future date doesn't work, since Sandboxie just treats it like a date that's older than 30 days, aka trial expired.
Added a patch, which also claims to work with latest version and under Windows 8, I did not tested it, but some people reported that it works. Because of that, make a system restore point or a backup and try that patch with care.
Okay, no problem thanks. I will add some instruction or a simply .bat file to reset the trial, my intent was not to support such process, again sorry.
Besides and afaik Invincea has put in-place, licensing mechanism hard to violate. If you are really grateful for this great piece of software, honor the devs and company by purchasing your license. Worth every spent dollar...
