    Is this really any different than just delaying the updates in pro?

    No, the updates won't be installed at all unless you remove your WiFi from metered connection. :biggrin:

    But that would naturally cut you off from the internet... We only wish to remove these damn automatic updates and replace with manual ones... :D

    Dont bother with ltsb for manual updates. Tried it and still did automatic download and install.

    Already found the policy in gpedit to not download automatically

    Don't care though cause I'm running wifi with metered connection

    Disabled things of Windows Updated in group policy edit to not automatically download and install updates as someone in other thread said about LTSB, but did not work.

    Did you try after disabling it if the updates are not downloading and gives you the option to press download?

    User config > admin templates > system

    Then Windows Automatic Updates and set to enable

    In the help section it says to enable for prohibiting for searching for updates
    Then use the show/hide tool and your good to go

    No need to even use show / hide tool after setting your WiFi to metered connection. :)

    Yes, with this method you can always choose what update you wish to install.
