Hello, on my motherboard, setFSB do not work because the PLL is set to TME (TRUSTED MODE ENABLE). The value is "1" so it's read only :/

I want to know if it's the BIOS that can push this value to 1 (so maybe it can be fixed by a modded bios???) or if it's an hardware stuff (so hardware mod are the only way to fix it).

    Thanks a lot

It's unknown, the PPL's are Marked RO however the Bios can change them when it detects the FSB of a CPU 133/167/200.

As far as I know, no one has ever published how this happens,(INTEL), you could spend a large amount of time with IDA Pro and some year figure it out.

It's just so much easier to do the PIN Mod to the TME and be done with it.

I suspect that the PLL's are Pulled High or Low at the Pins for the CPU, and the Bios has nothing to do with it (Intel Core Arch), so I don't think TME can be changed with a Bios edit.

TEST MODE ENABLE<-------F@&K Trusted Mode, I don't Trust it at all.
