View attachment ACER_ALL_$OEM$.zip Download the attached file. Use any ISO editing tool such as UltraISO. Take a fresh 7 installation iso, remove sources\ei.cfg and paste the included $OEM$ folder in sources. Then u can install & auto-activate all 5 editions of 7 in any Acer 2.1 SLIC enabled pc
Thank for helping. I'd like to avoid that method because i've already set my product key using dism. Plus, that way you are not able to put a clean and unactivated edition in your wim file, as oobe.cmd will always be executed. Can i simply put my certificate file in C:\offline\Windows\System32\OEM? (install.wim mounted in C:\offline)
I noticed your conversation over on MSFN you are using your OEM:COA key that is the wrong key you should be using OEM:SLP key.
Ok i'm going to test it right now in a separate partition. Out of curiosity, why OEM:COA key can't be used? I successfully activate my copy by phone with it. Why OEM:COA + cert will not work?
Got it but what's marker? Again out of curiosity... btw i've tested SLP + cert in System32\OEM (added offline) and it works
It works using dism to set the product key OEM:SLP and adding my cert file to the offline image. Your first suggestion (zip archive with $oem$ folder) is good, but has some cons: 1) you cannot have a not activated version of windows 7 in the same wim file 2) works only for acer (what if you want to add a custom windows 7 edition for - say - an HP machine?) you cannot mix edition for different manufacters 3) forces you to leave the dvd in the tray until you see the desktop for the first time 4) add a small delay in oobe 5) ask for product key in oobe - i guess pro: 1) no need to mount a wim file 2) ?? But you pointed me in the right direction so a big thank you
