Thanks, I hope it helps also newbies to create their own ISO for USB with apps and DriverPacks without knowledge about scripting This project is based on all my finding during creating still unreleased Windows 7 Kitchen and XP2ESD where I got some good ideas how to do many of these scripts Currently I'm focused on Vista to write small tool to be able build setup with all updates until now. Most of scripts will be based on my unreleased Windows 7 tool. After this I can share it too.
1) As I wrote, this tool doesn't support drivers or updates integration into WIMs. Prepare your integrated WIMs using any of the tools I mentioned. 2) POWIS solution is not compatible with WinNTSetup and it never be as it's not possible by design. When you use POWIS then setup.cmd is injected into WinPE (boot.wim index CountOfImages). I'm not going to investigate time to inject my scripts into install.wim - It can be possible but it's not needed at all as POWIS is extension for standard Windows setup
Yes input must be with install.wim, POWIS can compress it into install.esd. I will see if can be install.esd input too. It depends If wimlib can extract files from ESD, If yes, it can be easily adapted
I think upon completing the process with prowis, if the wim file is converted to esd it still work. And installing is expected to be correct.

Is it possible to install Vista from Windows 7/8/10 boot.wim instead of Vista boot.wim as on modern Windows XP installer? Service Vista boot.wim is a pain. I cant install updates to it so I can use drivers I want.
