I have been using ToolWiz Care since its initial relase and like all of its features, especially Time Freeze; Whereas, CCleaner is more popular than ToolWiz Care. I've heard of little news about ToolWiz Care company, they are quite low-key. Tried CCleaner once, and found it not much better than ToolWiz Care.

Well, what do you guys think? Let's talk.

ToolWiz > CCleaner > SlimCleaner : They have a lot in common but also have their own unique features. Never heard of ToolWiz, but looks like it garners good reviews. The fact that it is free means I will be trying it soon. Their TimeFreeze function sounds like a PC version of Apple's Time Machine. I've been a CCleaner user from it's very beginning. 100% safe when used at the default settings, but like any of these utilities, you can get yourself in trouble if you makes changes you don't fully understand.

You don't even try ToolWiz Care. I have to admit CCleaner is not bad.

The reason why most people choose ToolWiz Care is that it's totally free, which is indeed great. They have not only Time Freeze, also provide Time Machine that is similar with Apple's. Their Time Freeze just frozen your PC, and Time Machine can revert back to the past snap. You'd better have a try. Truely, they are better than Apple. I like something that is excellent but rarely has been heard of.

Always been happy with Ccleaner, the only thing is the way that Google products are installed if the tick is not deselected and as I think that Chrome is crap then Ccleaner is installing what it should be removing (take note Alannis that's Irony)

And the disk wiping utility fails to finish at times, but using Active KD solves that issue.

You can get the Slim installer that offers no other software during installation, just plain CCleaner.

Personally I don't mind, I use Chrome anyway & CCleaner is such a great tool it can be forgiven, certainly beats having intrusive advertising in the program itself.

Personal opinion and preference, but the new interface looks better in windows 7 than in 8/8.1. Perhaps people who do not like it will eventually get used to it. Fine that software developers want to go for flatter look.
