We've been using top-load washers for years (think the very first one that I can remember was a whirlpool), and our latest one (GE) is ****ing the bed during mid-heavy loads, it washes, rinses, but sticks on the spin cycle (at spin cycle, if too heavy, the spin light blinks and it fills up with water) and then just times out and forces me to do a drain cycle, stop before the spin, take all but a small amount of the soggy clothes out, and do 3-4 spin cycles. I had Triple AAA come down and replace all the parts they think needed replacing for free (one time deal), the motherboard, spin motor, etc..., and for maybe 3 days it worked, but afterwards, it acted up all over again; I could go on and on, but I need to know if its either a balance problem, something that can be fixed, and if truly not, then I need a recommendation on a top-load washer than will actually last longer than a few years, a washer that IF we move, we can take with one local hardware appliance store manager recommended speed queen (she's a whirlpool/GE retailer, and even SHE doesn't recommend the hardware she's selling anymore), and i'm inclined to believe her with the problems we had so far. if there's another cheaper but still reliable choice, let's hear it, because I am absolutely livid with our current one right now Current Model # is GTW330ASK0WW Serial # is HG107686G
