I bought a Toshiba Satellite E105-s1402 Laptop which had a broken screen. After Replacing the screen I found out there is a BIOS password. Here are the things I have tried THUSFAR: Unplugging the battery for 12 hours Touching the Positive and Negative Lead Together a few times while the machines boots up. Shorting out the BIOS battery for up to 5 minutes. (The above methods have worked for MISC other laptops in the past - BUT NOT THIS ONE) If anyone has any suggestions about how to clear this BIOS Password I would be MUCH APPRECIATED!! TKS ComWizard
I APPRECIATE the response LatinMcG, but, unfortunatly that video will not assist me. There not JUMPER CONTACTS like those under the ram in the E105 Toshiba machines.... TKS ANYWAY
sometimes its XXX or J1 not the T inside the U shape. might be 2 solder squares with a white line separating them. if its older than 2004 or so it might need the LPT loop trick
