I bought a Toshiba Satellite E105-s1402 Laptop which had a broken screen. After Replacing the screen I found out there is a BIOS password. Here are the things I have tried THUSFAR: Unplugging the battery for 12 hours Touching the Positive and Negative Lead Together a few times while the machines boots up. Shorting out the BIOS battery for up to 5 minutes. (The above methods have worked for MISC other laptops in the past - BUT NOT THIS ONE) If anyone has any suggestions about how to clear this BIOS Password I would be MUCH APPRECIATED!! P.S. I do not see any jumper pads under the ram chips, no XXX or J1 Additional Details: SOMEONE ASKED ABOUT A HASH CODE.....there are no codes....after 3 Failed attempts the comptuer just shuts down. SOMEONE SAID TO FLASH THE BIOS....How do I flash the BIOS if the machine will not let you go anywhere without putting the password in???? Cannot change the boot options, cannot edit the bios...BIOS PASSWORD IS REQUIRED before you go anywhere in the computer.... Thanks Again...Any help on this issue would be MUCH APPRECIATED...
