Toshiba Satellite L355-s7915 SLIC2.1 Request

    Hello everyone,

    I have a Toshiba Satellite L355-s7915 with BIOS 2.20 installed and after checking with Rw-everything it shows slic 2.0. What do I need to do to get the correct slic 2.1 toshiba certificate installed for win7? My tech skill level is middle of the road. Thanks in advance,

    Thank you for the speedy reply. Just d/l the modded bios and went to flash in windows and got a message that they are the same version as the current installed bios. The ones installed now are from the toshiba website. How do I bypass this and get them installed?

    Downloaded everest to double checked the results against rw-everything and here is the report...Any ideas on options?

    I've installed bios this way in the past. Easy put the cd in, boot from cd....lots of beeping. Only i've d/l the bios in this format and mounted to disc...how do I edit these to be able to do this? I do appreciate the help...this whole slic things is new to me...

    Update: mounted the image file that came with the package and booted from cd....it flashed correctly but no dice....still 2.0. I'm outta ideas, anyone else have any suggestions?

    The best way IMHO is to post bios request on the thread I linked above in the format provided.
    request the way you want to flash.

    to do the Rw everything report you must click the advanced tab and you will see the option for attachments then. There you can upload the RW report and on link to Bios of manufacturer just provide link without HTTP. Post any questions or progress
