    Hello everyone,

I have a Toshiba Satellite L355-s7915 with BIOS 2.20 installed and after checking with Rw-everything it shows slic 2.0. What do I need to do to get the correct slic 2.1 toshiba certificate installed for win7? My tech skill level is middle of the road. Thanks in advance,

Thank you for the speedy reply. Just d/l the modded bios and went to flash in windows and got a message that they are the same version as the current installed bios. The ones installed now are from the toshiba website. How do I bypass this and get them installed?

Does this even need a mod? I bought one and apparently a normal BIOS update gave me 2.1, maybe I got lucky, but this happened to another family laptop as well.

You said it wouldn't let you flash in Windows, I believe in that case there is a way to flash it in DOS and it work.

The best way IMHO is to post bios request on the thread I linked above in the format provided.
request the way you want to flash.

to do the Rw everything report you must click the advanced tab and you will see the option for attachments then. There you can upload the RW report and on link to Bios of manufacturer just provide link without HTTP. Post any questions or progress
