Greetings from a rather novice windows user. I have been on Linux for years, and havent learned much about install procedures, and feel a bit overwhelmed by what I see. I have no idea what a "checksum" is or "iso hash" or "msdn" etc... and the list goes on. I am doing as much reading as I can on this site, but much of info seems to be a bit above my current knowledge. I am also not sure what I am even allowed to ask about on here, but looking for a beginners guide to downloading/installing windows 10 but (pr preferably 7)that is supported with UEFI systems. I have a pirated copy of 7 that seems to work (if i can get it to load) but I had to use GPT on the USB stick to get it to work, so it wont show up in my Grub (want to install alongside my current Ubuntu Insatallation). THanks kindly and sorry if I have broken any rules
if EFI.. you have to setup ubuntu as EFI also.. in non MBR disk. just install EFI win 7 x64 then install ubuntu efi loader.
