I tried a recent version of McAfee Endpoint Security but normally use Symantec Endpoint Protection. I don't like the firewalls in either, so using Windows Defender Firewall along with Windows Firewall Control. I only tried the McAfee for a few hours as an antivirus and didn't like it as much as the Symantec. I found the McAfee slowed some things down more and didn't uninstall properly. I actually restored a Macrium image to get rid of it. Thank God for Macrium. Furthermore, when I used the file browser in McAfee to add files to exclude, some files on my computer I normally exclude in Symantec don't even show up in McAfee's file browser which seemed unusual. I had to ad them manually but never tested to see if that worked. I noticed the same thing (files hidden from exclusion browser) when I tried Kaspersky Security Cloud Free.
Does anyone know if there a server/administrative type build, similar to symantec endpoint protection, where we can manage policies and monitor status of multiple agents?
