[TRICK] Upgrade to Windows 8.1 by using your Windows 8 key

dear all,

i don't know whether this trick is already found or not, but i found out this trick interesting.

First:

Get a Windows 8.1 ISO

Second:

Mount/Burn the disc, then run the setup.exe on your PC

Third:

When this screen comes up



Enter the generic product key, then, after the generic key works, replace the field with your own key.

EDIT: If you put your own product key before inputting the generic key, it will fail the key check.

Fourth:

Follow all the steps, and enjoy
