My friend has asked me to help him to upgrade his Lenovo Ideapad S10e to Windows 7, however I am quite worried that the Ultimate edition will be too heavy for the netbook's Atom processor to work at a acceptable speed.
So, which edition of Windows 7 is the best choice for this netbook?
    Thanks~

Should not make any great material difference. Just chuck in a 2GB stick of Ram.
One is naturally restricted by the video processor and screen res. etc - bearing that in mind it should work great!
I would suggest using the Daz activator.

I have recently installed ultimate on a amd athlon64 3000+ with 160gb hdd and 1gb ram. Did some tweaking in the registry and minimized running services, and it flies like a jet. In fact, had to attach it to the desk and close all windows :D

I'm running Ultimate on an older Toshiba Satelite with one gig of ram and it runs just fine. Of course I don't have to bolt mine down to table. Still quick tho.

    Little over the top :D
But it is surprisingly fast for an old peace of junk like that. I allmost disposed of it,
but now it has found a new purpose...

Thanks for all and now I am testing the Windows 7 Ultimate on the Ideapad. It runs really fast than I expected!
