What is a link to TPB here telling me in terms of trust? Someone found stuff on TPB and just because he links it here it's supposed to be trustworthy? Does he know the uploader? How should I know if he does? Besides, I trust a very small set of people here who program their own tools and provide them here. Other than that, I trust noone here. Why should I? Anyone can register here. If there are ways to verify a download directly with the vendor, it's plain stupid to download your OS in an installed form.
Even supposing this is true and relevant, he still didn't make the torrent himself. So it's just not about trusting him, it's about trusting his judgement to trust yet another party. All this while images directly from the vendor are available - or indirectly available via torrent and then verifying the checksum directly from the vendor, which is impossible once the OS is installed. No offense to the members here, but I'll get my OSes securely and everyone should do the same.
True trust has to be earned hard, it can neither be acquired nor bought. Everyone needs to build trust him-/herself through own actions.
