So far, I have managed to work out how to boot the computer with the Floppy in the drive.

Unplug Battery, Hold down Fn+F, add Power cord and turn on, when power light comes, release FN+F and press again quickly.

The USB Floppy starts to 'seek' which contains PHLASH16.EXE, MINIDOS.SYS and my BIOS.WPH, the light comes on, seems to start, then the speaker starts what I can only be described as a vibrating dull buzz and stays like it.

Can anyone explain why this is happening? When I turn the Laptop on by itself, it gets to the Toshiba/Phoenix Splash screen and stops at about 20%.

Any clues where I could be going wrong. I really need to get this thing back up and running. :worthy:

Top stuff. I used an older version from the link you provided and worked a treat!
