hope vista/srv2008 support come soon. Please give example to TSforge /dump <filePath> (<encrFilePath>) Filepath is tokens.dat path? Or will newly created file's (dump.dat) path. What is "encrFilepath" If i am working in winpe or mounted a disk how will it dump? How can i give offline mounted windows directory path?
filePath is the output path of the decrypted dump. encrFilePath is the path of a non-system physical store file. For winpe/offline dump, you can pass the path of the offline system's data.dat/7b296... file to encrFilePath to decrypt its contents.
It has actually advantages over HwID: 1. It doesn't rely on MS servers at all, and 2. thus, it can be done fully offline, and 3. it is reversible. Plus, 4. it doesn't care about hardware changes or transfers to other machines. It doesn't survive build upgrades and clean installs? No problem, just quickly re-apply it, geez!
Hilarious ! Windows 10 ESU is pwned even before it is available >_< Well congrats for pulling this off and sharing, the fact that it can be done offline is also extremely appealing !
I am wondering, that with this development, if it has been ruled out that a bypassESU will not be feasible and that it will not be possible to use 10 IoT LTSC updates on 10 Pro? I was hoping for a bypassESU so that 10 Pro could get updates till Jan 2032. If this is not possible then the MAS code string method of upgrading to either 10 or 11 IoT will have to suffice, which I have done both upgrades on VMs and I admire your flawless work.
Great! I tried it on an old machine with W7 Enterprise, then the prerequisites (on Massgravel site) and I activated Win and the 3-year ESU Now it doesn't care if it's BIOS or UEFI, so bye bye Loader and Ezwindslic It worked and installed updated until 2023-01 without need to use ESU Bypass
It will likely not be possible once GAC W10 ESU ends, as the update packages would only be for EnterpriseS/IoTEnterpriseS. You would have to modify the update packages themselves to make them work on GAC editions.
1703 surface hub update work on 1703 enterprise offline only Force iot lsc update on regular w10 need probaly same tweak offline....
It's not advisable in any case. Those who really want to update past 2028 deadline are best served by repair-installing to IoT LTSC edition. No need for clean install or screwing with WU, it's the best of both worlds.
Some whom I know that are not consumer Windows users and would rather not force an IoT 10 or 11 upgrade (with the MAS command line) will be bummed that they can only get 3 free extended years.
How in topic. It interesting but I few readed and I see, it don't unlock Esus to much (that unofficial example between windows (normal) and servers updates). Example Windows 7 unlocked to ESU to 2023. But later not. So de facto still people need ESUs bypass how was. But me ask, how work bypass ESU if let's on longer times updates? MAS haven't unlocked that. Or maybe authors MAS find that ways too?
Activating ESU and patching Windows 7 to get Server updates are two different things. TSforge can activate any ESU license, and you can get updates as Microsoft officially intended. If you want more than that, you still need bypass esu/proxy tools.
