    I have an Intel x86 Atom based slate (tablet PC) (with internal flash). Is there a nice GUI linux that will support touch and audio/wifi etc. for this (presumably Ubuntu touch won't work?)?
    I want to boot from LiveCD ISO (via USB) and if it is any good, I will install it to the internal flash memory.

    If you could save your ROM, why not try?

    OK, this a completely new version of Ubuntu, beside of Android maybe the first Linux Tablet and Touch Screen supported as well as an modified Graphic for that. If not now, it would be only a matter of time it will be available for "normal" Tablets as well.
