UEFI, Dazloader, Windows 8 questions

    Hi,

    I am a little concerned abou the whole UEFI bios replacement thing. Will this mean that Windows 8 will require UEFI and prevent loaders like the DAZloader from doing their magic? Or will UEFI be optional?

    I read about UEFI from MS...they told is gonna be support all native BIOS but with UEFI the Windows Operating System will talk much better...:eek:

    Yep, UEFI is and will remain just optional, and difference for OS is too tiny to affect it's performance. But since Windows 8 will use OA3.0 (which supposedly means difference with OA2.1/2.0 as big as between OA2.0 and OA1.0), that means DAZloader or whatever other OA2.1 simulators will be pointless...
