UEFI mode to old motherboard ?

    i was wondering , is it possible to inject uefi into an old bios or do you need official bios upgrade from producer ?

    Is your mobo compatible with UEFI mode ?

    compatible meaning what ? as i said its an old 2009 gygabyte that the latest official support is for w7.

    Then look in your bios/user's manual if UEFI mode is available. Which model is it ?

    Mobo doesn't support UEFI mode

    and it cant be modded into it ?

    No impossible as the manufacturer has not developped the mobo inthis way.

    This is not impossible. You can use TianoCore DUET for this very purpose. I think Gigabyte's UEFI shim for P67 boards is exactly this. If you have enough room in the flash chip, you can add a Tiano DUET module. I don't know how to do this, but someone here or maybe some people involved in the Clover bootloader project know.
