UEFITool_0.2.0.win.zip @MediaFire can't be downloaded by using either IE10 or Opera 17?! Don't know why.

    Hi CodeRush,

version 0.3.0 has an issue opening a volume image, which is parsed correctly by Phoenix Tools. The file of interest is found in VMWare products in the executable "vmware-vmx", for example at: "...\VMware Workstation\x64\vmware-vmx.exe\.rsrc\BINRES\6020", when viewed in 7-zip.

Please refer to the attached screenshot.

Solved in trunk, but I must polish the code before releasing a new beta. It will be released in 1-3 days. Editing will work, BTW. :)

0.5.0 is out, the code is pulled up to repo. Binaries will be uploaded tomorrow (found a bug in very last moment).
    - Sections can now be inserted into files
    - Replace temporary disabled (will be reworked in next versions)
    - UI slightly changed

    Hi Coderush,

I want to try your tool to see if it help me to understand wha'ts going with my z68XP-UD3-iSSD bios rom. i posted here, if you want to take a look :
    http://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/50280-Z68XP-UEFI-bios-Mod-Insert-Modules-issue?p=841261

I tried your UEFITool (0.6.0) but when i made changes (remove modules coredxe for example). The saved file is bigger than the original ROM.
For 4096 kB rom file, become 5629 kB.
For 8192 kB, become 10237 KB.
UEFITool can't open the new saved file
    Debug window:
parseRegion: GbE region stored in descriptor not found
Two flash chips installed, so it could be in another flash chip
Make a dump from another flash chip and open it to view information about GbE region
    Absence of GbE region assumed
parseRegion: ME region stored in descriptor not found
    And so on.

The insert/replace isby default compressed ?

    Regards

That Gigabyte BIOS is cool, it causes unhalted exception in 0.7.0 right after modified file saving. Will dig into this problem and make new release tomorrow. It's a release-a-day marathon, baby. :)
