Hi, I´ve tried to figure out how to do this alone by reading all the info available in this forum but I still have some questions....
I have a dell studio 1737 with vista home premium 32bit.
1.I was going to modify my bios to slic 2.1 but when i updated my bios to ver. A08 it contained slic 2.1 so I dont have to modify it (my bios) any more right?
2.Now, what do i have to do? I install windows 7 and then install a certificate and a key as explained in windows7 repository thread?
3.Do I have to do anything else?

    Thanks

As you have said that the upgraded Bios contains SLIC 2.1 so .... no need to play with Bios
Now jus Install Win7, Certificate and OEM SLP key as explained in repository thread and Enjoi :)

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

    Thanks!

By the way, if i have to go back too my original vista (hope not) should i backup my actual Certificate and OEM SLP key using the slic dump toolkit first?

I´ve made a backup of my actual certificate and compared it to the dell certificate downloaded from the windows7 repository thread and they are the same! so i only have to install a key. Has someone checked it?

If you have the original dell vista disk there is no need they are already in it.
