    Unfortunately, they forgot to change the update history in UltraISO :D ;)

    maybe this will help some users here.

    for a long while on Windows 8 and now 8.1 I have was not able to write cd/dvd with ultraiso
    as I kept receiving an error "[dvd-r/rw media requires setting mode page to use DAO writing]"

    this problem is because I am on an Amd64 system that utilizes the AMD ahci driver.
    simple fix after going back and forth with EZBsystems support was to rollback the driver
    from using the AMD oem installed one to the Microsoft one.....problem was fixed.

    I have a problem with the new version, I have the option to no longer create a virtual drive after restarting the PC.

    It has a gray background

    what can that be

    When the UltraISO application is installed on your computer the first time, it automatically prompts you to create a virtual disc drive which is used for mounting images. If you did not select this option at installation then this what you obtain. Try reinstall it and select the option.

    I've already done everything.

    The virtual drive is also present after installation.

    Only after restarting the PC is it gone

    My System Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019 17763.1294 X64

    this is only the case with the new version.
    version 9.7.2.3561 works

    Edit:
    have now done it differently, first installed the version 9.7.2.3561, and then the new 9.7.3.3618, now it works.

    Humm strange what I have done I reinstalled it and double-click on the new drive located in the left down pane then drive appeared on Windows explorer. I rebooted the machine and all is ok.
    You can then create/suppress on the fly virtual drives. I don't use as W10 has the same option by mounting isos.
