    Hello there!

I updated my BIOS in my Acer laptop and my Windows 7 Enterprise pop up that the Windows is not genuine.
I always used KMS to activate Windows.
Now I can't use KMS couse it says that it requires a proper operating system to upgrade from.

    Anyone can help me?
Thanks, feel free to ask for any other info if needed.

    The same settings, yes.
And I did a clean install and the same.
I think the BIOS update somehow modified the SLIC in BIOS, but I don't understand what exactly it did.
    I don't think it's corrupt and I can't flash it back.
I think that there are more versions of Acer Aspire 5742ZG.
Some comes with Windows preinstalled, some not.
    Mine came without.
But I think maybe now I flashed (cause there was only one type of BIOS update available for 5742ZG) a BIOS that has some OEM bits.
So maybe I can now install Home Premium/Ultimate and activate as OEM.
The question is, if I install them, how can I activate the Windows to use the OEM info present in BIOS
