I am not able to double click and install chrome/firefox the only way I can install is by right clicking and selecting run as administrator then the browser starts with a message that profile not found.
check the permission on your local TEMP folder (%appdata%\local\temp). Sometimes your username is deleted from the list (a bug i think), if you add you user with full rights, all is ok
