Unable to install my printer

    I have an old HP Laserjet 4+ but I can't install it under 7 because it is not in the default list of supported drivers. I had a similar problem with Vista once, but it was easy to solve: I simply clicked on the Windows Update button to update the driver list and my printer would be listed. But with Windows 7, each time I click that button, I get an error message: "Windows was unable to get a list of devices form Windows Update."

    Anyone know how to update the driver list ?

    have you gone to manufacturers website to see if they have a driver that you can download?
