Unable to install Nero 12 on windows 8.1

    Hi to all forum
    As the title of the topic says i'm unable to install nero 12 on windows 8.1 every time i get this message MICROSOFT XML 4.0 FAIL TO INSTALL exit installation yes/no no matter what i chose it exit and terminate the installation.
    Any help is appreciated

    installed and working fine for me on 8.1 pro

    I installed separately:

    Nero Burning Rom 12.5.01300
    Nero Wave Editor 12.5.00100
    Nero Cover Designer 12.0.01500

    Working fine.

    Nero 12.5.01400 also working fine for me on Windows 8.1 x64.

    Try to install in safe mode.

    Yes i have the latest version of nero, and i tried in safe mode but i got the same error

    Same version and works well here. You can try uninstalling everything nero related and then search windows registry and files system for remains, delete them and reinstall
