When I try to sign into my Microsoft account, Edge Chromium states:

"We can' t sign you in right know

Sign in is not supported when running Microsoft Edge as an administrator. Please relaunch Microsoft Edge as a non-administrator and try signing in again.".

Maybe this issue is caused by a policy created by one (or more) of the same programs.

I suppose this message shows up because of a policy on gpedit.msc but where can I find it to delete it to make this message go away and be able to change the program's settings? Maybe I set this policy with Winaero Tweaker and/or W10Privacy by mistake.

You probably did. Running a browser in administrator mode is a big security hole.

Why and how can I delete this policy? I don't even know the policy and which program did it. I installed Edge Chromium after setting the policies using the programs, if it matters. Also, shouldn't I have this problem on Chrome too?

just leave UAC settings in defaults, and stop messing with the OS mods.

This time I did the same thing in a VM and I didn't have these problems. Weird.

Especially the bad translation problem and these two ones when I did the exact same thing on a VM and I didn't have them.

    • You know Newton's laws - one of them says, "Every body is as lazy as possible." (which of the three, think yourself?)
    • In other words, problems are good and problems must be - this is the driving force of life.
    • If there are no problems, the person becomes lazy.

Lazy, me, after losing years trying to fix problems? One thing is accusing me of messing with too much components and settings (like I've ben accused many times even when I didn't touch them some times), the opposite is accusing me of being lazy and does even much less sense.

Of course not, the joke isn't an accusation.
    Take it easy.
Everyone has problems from time to time and jokes helps hold head up.

Don't remove AccountsControl if you like to use MS account and sync. AAD broker is safe to remove.
To sign in Edge - first sign in with your MS account on Windows then install new Edge and you will be sign-in automatically.

Why should I sign in my Microsoft account in Windows if I want to keep using a local account?

This is just a workaround to sign-in in Edge when you can't do it inside Edge.
When you sign-in in Windows you will be signed in Edge too. Then if if you wish switch back to local Windows account - you will remained signed to Edge though.

Ok, I didn't try that, but I want to keep my local account and I suppose if I did that I wouldn't be able to sign in my Microsoft account in Windows so I wouldn't be able to sign in it in Edge.

It looks the signing in on the Microsoft account on Edge Chromium problem has to do with the "Enable UAC - Filter all administrators (EnableLUA)" setting on NTLite. I set this setting to default, didn't use one of the mentioned programs and I was able to sign in my Microsoft account in Edge Chromium. If I disable UAC with Winaero Tweaker and remove AAD Broker Plugin and AccountsControl with NTLite I have this problem again.
