    Hi!

I have been searching various threads on internet and mdl forums but I have not found a solution yet.

I installed Windows 10 preview on my Asus X202E laptop because of Windows 8 caused many crashes.
So, what I did was clean install. I've kept the recovery partitions, but did not (!) do the recommended backup of the windows OEM keys.

    So the problem is:
The recovery partitions are there and all files are intact. I restored the OEM status on the partitions, and tried to do a recovery through windows and extracted the restore partition to a usb. Every time I try to use them I get the message that the restore partition is missing.

I can see them through the diskmanager and all files are there and are healthy.

Is it possible to extract the keys from the restore partition or to make the partition usable again?
Should I try to install a iso of windows 8 and then try to use the restore partition?

    Best regards
